Guests Arrive

4-4:30 PM

Join us at the castle! Please arrive by 4:30 PM so we can start on time.

The castle will be all ours later, but expect a few lingering tourists early on—bonus entertainment!

Ceremony & Cocktails

5pm

We'll have a short ceremony on the castle terrace overlooking the lake at 5pm— the view is almost unfair!

After that, we'll have cocktails, photos, and a chance to mingle and get into the party spirit!

Dinner Service

~7:30 PM

Don't worry, no bibs needed!

We'll have a sit-down dinner with regional delights, local drinks, and a few speeches, perfect for indulging and keeping the party spirit alive!

After our first dance, we’ll invite everyone to boogie and celebrate with music, great vibes, and stunning views all around!

There’s a good chance you may not have thought much about Slovenia before, but we want you to be as excited as we are to take a look.

Nestled in the heart of Europe, Slovenia is a hidden gem, brimming with charm, natural beauty, and rich history. At the center of it all is Lake Bled, a picture-perfect destination that we are thrilled to call the setting for our wedding.

Lake Bled is a dream for outdoor lovers like us, with lush forests, the Julian Alps, and serene lakeside paths perfect for hiking, cycling, or peaceful strolls- all of which we adore. In the middle of this stunning location is Bled Castle, the oldest in Slovenia, perched high above the lake. It’s not just a historic marvel; it will also serve as the breathtaking setting for our wedding.

Ljubljana’s airport is a thirty-minute drive away. Plus, Slovenia’s central location makes it perfect for exploring nearby countries like Austria, Italy, and Croatia. We hope you’ll fall in love with Slovenia as much as we have and enjoy discovering this enchanting destination.

FAQ

What time should guests arrive at the venue?

Please arrive before 4:30pm. It is a few minutes away from the car park on foot. We will arrange shuttles for transport home, and will contact attendees in advance with more details.

Please note there is a short (but steep!) climb on cobblestone. The castle may have uneven sections of ground, so please keep this in mind when selecting footwear.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Each physical invitation allows for up to two guests. This means if you received an invitation as a couple, it’s for the two of you to attend together. If your invitation was addressed to just you, we’d love for you to bring a plus-one!
